Add Swag Bucks Widgets and Banners to Your Facebook Profile

Swag Bucks has great promotion banners for there site and there are some nice widgets that have been created that you can add to your Facebook profile. Giving you the ability to flash your stats and fish for leads directly from your account.

What is Swag Bucks?

Swag Bucks is a online search engine that is much like Google, Yahoo and Bing with one exception. They compensate you for your time and energy for helping them. You get points or (Swag Bucks) for doing your normal search’s that you do on the internet. In return you cash the Swag Bucks out iPods, Tv’s, T-shirts, Gift Cards, and a ton of other items. The gifts are always changing so always new and fresh items to receive.

How do I add Swag Bucks to my Facebook account?

Many of the steps I am going to show you are pretty basic and you can just skip to these first few steps if not needed.

First create an account with Swag Bucks if you don’t have one. http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/Clixto7

Second Login into your Facebook account and add Gigya (MyStuff) using this link

You will pull up the Gigya Facebook Application page and click on Go To Application button.

The next screen that comes up is for permission to add to your page. Click the Allow button.

Here click the Add to Profile button.

Once you add it to your profile it will be located on your Boxes tab. From here you can either go ahead and add it to the Profile Wall or add your code.

Go to your Swag Bucks account then on the menu bar / promote / promote banners. If you are going to leave the application on the box tab then you can grab one of the larger banners. If you move it to the profile wall then you may want to use one of the square banners at 125 x 125. Copy the code.

*note: When choosing code to add to Facebook always choose the HTML / MySpace code formats and stay away from the Java code or you will get CODE NOT ALLOWED error when you try to save your work.

On the Gigya application page you can paste the code and click add button and it will add to your profile. As you can see it uses normal html. It only uses what would normally be placed in the <Body></Body> tags. So if you need to center your banner or widget then just place the code between the following tags:

Place your code for banner and/or widget here.

If you want to add space between two banners you can add the tag </br> between the two separate banner codes

When you have completed your entries then click Add to Profile button.

That is all you need to do. You should now have the banner or widget on your Facebook page.

-Now go show your old friends your new swagger!
