An unfortunate traveler name Sofie had her iPhone stolen while riding the underground in London.
Lucky for her, the thief took some a few pics with the stolen phone. Photo Stream automatically uploaded the photos to iCloud, which enabled the owner to see all of the photos that were taken. Using these photos, the police were able to catch the thief.
The moment I found the pictures I sent them to the police. One week later, I got a call from the police saying they’ve found them walking about in the Copenhagen Central Station. Busted!

Interestingly enough, as many reddit users pointed out, the criminals may not have been caught if she had password protection on her phone.
